Week 34 oh i mean 35 !!

Well the Doctor has moved up the baby's due date from Aug. 29th to Aug. 22nd!!! She said it may be even earlier than that, we find out more on July 26th. The doctor feels Milana is going to be a big baby, we think so too. Basically our Doctor said the baby could be born anytime after July 26th and would be considered full term!! Its so surreal that in just a few weeks we will have a child!!! With the heat and actual size of the baby Denise can't wait to get things moving. She only sleeps in a couple hour intervals since the baby has now taken over her bladder space. Its amazing to watch Milana stretch out and see a foot or arm push out of her stomach. Please pray for a healthy and safe delivery. I will definitely post our baby pictures.

A small cabbage ????

Well Milana is now the size of a small cabbage. Weighing in at 2.9lbs and around 17in in length from head to toe. At least thats what our book says :). Only 11 weeks and 5 days to go until the big day. We have an extremely busy summer and the heat is not going to help. Milana is kicking and moving more than ever now. Her room is just about finished and we are getting so excited !!!

Third Trimester begins today!!!!

Today starts our third trimester!! I can't believe how fast all this is going. We still need to sign up for our birthing classes, and prepare a birth plan. Right now Milana is the size of a cucumber that is 15 inches in length and about 2.2 lbs. She is also able to get REM sleep now, which means she can dream :) So amazing. We will post some pictures of the baby bump very soon.

Waiting, waiting, waiting

Well in a few short weeks we are going to know if its a boy or a girl!!!! March 29th is the big day!! Denise is still hoping for a girl, but for me well I honestly would not mind a boy or a girl. Denise is finally starting to get her appetite back, and the morning sickness is just about gone. She is still 9lbs underweight but I don't think it will last much longer :) Right now she craves McDonald's quarter pounders with cheese!!! We are still desperately searching for a new place to live and pray something will finally work out, since we have had two properties now that didn't work. If anyone knows of a house to rent, please let us know.

Start of 2nd trimester!

Well my first trimester has finally begun!  Everything that I've heard and read says that things should start getting better now and so far they're right.  I'm starting to get my appetite back, smells aren't bothering me so bad (still cant handle sebs breath :( !) and not feeling so nauseas.  So ready for all of that to be done!  I am still very tired all of the time but I've heard that will get better in a couple weeks.  Oh and another exciting thing we set up our appointment to find out the sex of the baby for March 29, only 5 more weeks!!! We cant wait for that!!  Other than that the doctor says that the baby and I look very healthy. Oh and my glucose test came back normal so as of right now no gestatianal diabetes for me!!  They will test me again around 28 weeks.  So as of now things are pretty good! And to make things even better Seb has been wonderful helping out and taking really good care of me!!  But I didnt doubt that!

From soon to be mommy

Were now at week 11 and morning sickness has been a real pain in my butt. However it feels like it may be finally coming to an end. At least i hope so! I wish any kind of food sounded good to me right now or even tasted good. My amazing husband got up at 6am on Monday morning to get my craving of Bill's Donuts Apple Fritter fix!!! It was so good!!!! My clothes are starting to get much tighter especially jeans. It seems like I have less and less clothes to wear everyday. Time seems like its flying by and I can't wait to be done with my first Trimester. Looking forward to my next doctors appointment in two weeks. Very excited that the doctor's told me on the last visit that I'm not considered a high risk pregnancy anymore!! Praise God!!! Can't wait to start feeling the baby move around. I'm soooo excited!!!!!

10 weeks!!

Well yesterday was our first doctors appointment. Denise is now 10 weeks 2 days along. Her due date is August 29th!!! We are so excited it has been a long stressful time of trying. Right now the baby is the size of a LIME !!! We were able to see the head, hands and feet at the ultrasound. We feel so blessed and pray it will be one healthy baby. We are already playing with different names. For a girl we like Milana Francesca, and a boy possibly Luca Sebastian, still being debated however. Please feel free to recommend boy names!!!

7 weeks NOW!!

So today our doctor told us our little "rasberry" is 7 weeks along instead of only 4-6 weeks. This Thursday we have our first ultrasound to hopefully hear the heartbeat!!! I can't wait!! Denise has been so sensitive to smell and different foods that most of the time she has to eat plain rice. We feel so blessed and can't wait for our child to see our faces. A few good books Denise and I are reading is "Dad's Pregnant Too!" by Harlan Cohen, and "What to expect when you're expecting" by Heidi Murkoff. Both these books have a wealth of knowledge and give a weekly picture of what the baby looks like.

Smell

Who would of thought that after only a few weeks now Denise can not stand certain smells. These include seafood, onions, and all raw meats!! I'm also learning that morning sickness is not just in the morning. It can be all day or sometimes only at night, and rarely actually in the morning. Go figure

4-6 Weeks

We decided to start this blog in order to allow our friends and family to track the next 9 months of our lives.
